Uplegger announces the launch of three new Vivera meat alternatives. The range expansion includes spicy vegan drumsticks, a vega,n schnitzel and a vegan fillet spinach & cheese alternative.
Having already grown faster than the category in recent years, Vivera is moving closer to its self-imposed goal of occupying a place among the top five brands in the meat alternatives category. At the moment, growth of 12.5 percent is almost double that of the overall category (6.3 percent). The launch of the three new products is expected to help achieve the goal.
Konstantin Uplegger, managing director of Uplegger Food GmbH, is certain: “The three new products will inspire.” As the number of flexitarians continues to grow, more variety is also needed. Regardless of whether people are increasingly turning to plant-based meat alternatives for eth, ical, health or ecological reasons.
“Many simply want more variety on their plates. Vivera is serving this need in spring 2023 with the three new products for even more plant-based choices,” Uplegger continues.
