KANSAS CITY — Limited-time offerings (LTOs) continue to make their way to portfolios of foodservice locations and food manufacturers.MOD Super-Fast Pizza Holdings, LLC introduced the “Tailgate Trio,” which includes three new pizzas inspired by popular game day appetizers. The three pizzas include a Buffalo chicken pizza, a bacon, jalapeño popper pizza and a spinach artichoke pizza.“The Tailgate Trio are some of the most craveable pizzas we’ve ever developed and feature all the comforts and bold flavors of a football party or tailgate,” said Scott Uehlein, vice president of culinary excellence and innovation at MOD. “We hope our customers will enjoy these pizzas at home or on the go as they root on their favorite football teams in their postseason games.”Danone North America’s International Delight brand is launching three limited-time offerings inspired by the popular Netflix series “Bridgerton.” The products include two flavors of coffee creamer, Berries & Crème and English Toffee, and Berries & Crème iced coffee. International Delight developed the varieties as part of its pop-culture-focused LTO strategy, which includes the company’s recently launched Grinch-themed creamers and iced coffee.“International Delight captures the attention of the next generation of coffee drinkers through unique, pop-culture-driven limited-time offerings,” said Kallie Goodwin, vice president of marketing for Danone North America’s coffee creamers business.Icelandic Provisions, a maker of natural skyr, added its next product, which celebrates the Northern Lights. The concept for the limited-edition Northern Lights skyr kit revolves around the ingredients, with the idea being consumers can recreate the aurora borealis with green matcha, Icelandic blue spirulina, wild blueberry syrup and edible gold glitter.”At Icelandic Provisions, we are rooted in the iconic Icelandic spirit and are in constant awe of the incredible natural treasures found in Iceland,” said Dan Hickle, chief marketing officer. “This limited-time kit embodies the beloved and much sought-after aurora borealis phenomenon and makes it accessible to all, right in your bowl of skyr.
