Liquid Death hires chief commercial officer

LOS ANGELES — Liquid Death, a manufacturer of non-alcoholic beverages such as canned water, sparkling waters and teas, has selected Stephen Ballard to serve the newly created position of chief commercial officer. In the role, Mr. Ballard will lead field sales, distribution, national accounts, and international expansion.Most recently, Mr. Ballard was senior vice president of sales at Mike’s Hard Lemonade Company. Mr. Ballard brings over 25 years of experience in sales, distribution, and strategy to the company.“In my career I’ve never seen anything like Liquid Death, which has driven sales in retailers ranging from Walmart to Whole Foods and has reinvented the way we all think about branding in the beverage category,” Mr. Ballard said. “I’m thrilled to be joining this unparalleled team and to continue bringing this premium healthy beverage brand into new retailers and markets.”
